OUR ASL INTERPRETERS HAVE THE SKILLS &
EXPERIENCE
YOU NEED

ASL Interpreters are chosen for their certification level, skill level, and experience. At Helping Hands, our interpreters have earned either a RID National Certification, EIPA Certification or have been thoroughly screened for their skill set. These certifications and qualifications represent the levels of professional mastery as an ASL interpreter—we take great pride in having cultivated a team of interpreters with this industry-leading level of certification. In addition to certifications, we evaluate and test every interpreter applicant to verify that their skill level is up to Helping Hands standards.

IN-PERSON & REMOTE (VRI) INTERPRETING

We provide both in-person ASL interpreting as well as video remote interpreting (VRI). VRI is typically done over Zoom or a similar video conferencing platform. So, all you need is a computer, a laptop, or a mobile device as well as an internet connection... we make it easier for you.

In general, we recommend in-person interpreting whenever it is practical. However, in some circumstances, video remote interpreting can be an effective option. We would be happy to talk to you about which interpreting option might be right for your needs.

ALWAYS CONFIDENTIAL

Confidentiality is an integral part of our training and practice. Every interpreter we contract with ensures that all assignment related information remains confidential. When working with us, you know discretion is key.

The hearing community knows they can rely on us. And our Deaf community trusts us.

If you have any questions or want to schedule an interpreter, feel free to contact us.
